Eclipse Magnetics Samarium Cobalt (SmCo) Shallow Pot Magnets are compact magnetic assemblies designed for demanding applications where limited installation depth, high temperature capability and reliable magnetic performance are important.
Each magnet uses a Samarium Cobalt magnetic core housed within a steel casing that helps direct the magnetic field towards the working face, providing concentrated holding performance in a low-profile format.
Samarium Cobalt offers strong resistance to demagnetisation and corrosion, making these magnets suitable for use in harsh industrial, marine and high-temperature environments without the need for an additional protective coating.
Eight sizes are available from 6mm to 32mm diameter, with pull forces ranging from 0.5kg to 22kg depending on the model.
Pack quantities vary by size. Models E760 to E764 are supplied in packs of 20, while models E765 to E767 are supplied in packs of 10.
With a maximum operating temperature of 300°C, the range is suitable for precision assemblies, aerospace systems, automotive components and other high-temperature engineering applications.
