Eclipse Magnetics Samarium Cobalt (SmCo) Deep Pot Magnets are designed for demanding holding applications where high temperature capability, magnetic stability and corrosion resistance are important.
Each magnet uses a Samarium Cobalt magnetic core housed within a deep pot construction that helps concentrate the magnetic field at the working face while reducing stray magnetic flux.
Samarium Cobalt offers strong resistance to demagnetisation and does not require an additional protective coating to resist oxidation, making these magnets suitable for long-term use in challenging industrial environments.
Eight sizes are available from 6mm to 32mm diameter, with pull forces ranging from 0.8kg to 60kg depending on the model.
With a maximum operating temperature of 350°C, the range is well suited to high-temperature engineering, aerospace, industrial equipment and other applications where conventional magnet materials may not be suitable.
