Description
Neodymium Disc Magnets, also known as Rare Earth Disc Magnets, are powerful round coin-shaped magnets manufactured from Neodymium Iron Boron (NdFeB) alloy. They offer exceptional strength relative to their size and are typically axially magnetised - meaning one flat face is the North pole and the opposite face is the South. Unless otherwise specified, all Neodymium disc magnets are axially magnetised and feature a nickel (NiCuNi) triple-layer plating for corrosion resistance, other coatings such as epoxy or gold are available on request.

Learn More About Neodymium Disc Magnets
Neodymium (NdFeB) disc magnets are the strongest type of commercially available permanent magnet. Their thin, circular form makes them ideal for compact design applications. While axially magnetised magnets are standard, diametrically magnetised discs can also be produced to meet special application requirements. For increased performance, these magnets can be stacked, though performance gains plateau after a certain thickness.
Typically coated with nickel to prevent corrosion, these magnets are strong but brittle and should be handled with care due to their potential to snap together forcefully or interfere with electronic devices. If you're unsure about specifications or application fit, our team can provide tailored technical support.
