Learn more about our neodymium deep pot magnets with threaded hole
The bi-pole deep pot magnet and twin-pole blind-ended deep pot magnet are variations of a similar design. The outer casing is made of aluminum or brass (non-magnetic), with two circular segment-shaped mild steel pole pieces and a magnet positioned between them. The terms "bi-pole" and "twin-pole" are often used interchangeably for this type of pot magnet.
The deep pot versions of the bi-pole or twin-pole magnets may feature either a threaded hole at the back or be blind-ended (lacking a threaded hole or any other fastening method). The blind-ended versions are typically press-fitted. Both the Neodymium (rare earth) or NdFeB bi-pole deep pot magnet and NdFeB twin-pole blind-ended deep pot magnet are rated for a maximum operating temperature of +80°C.
