Eclipse Magnetics Energise-to-Hold Electromagnets are industrial electromagnets designed to provide controlled magnetic clamping, locking and holding when electrical power is applied.
Each unit is constructed around a copper-wound solenoid mounted within a highly permeable iron assembly, providing strong magnetic performance while minimising magnetic losses and residual magnetism when power is removed.
The electromagnet body features a bright nickel-plated finish and machined holding face, with integral threaded mounting points for secure installation into engineered assemblies, automation equipment and access control systems.
The range is available in diameters from 20mm to 100mm, with 12VDC and 24VDC versions available throughout the range. Selected 50mm and 65mm models are also available in 240VAC versions.
Maximum pull force across the range extends from approximately 113N to 3500N, equivalent to approximately 11kg to 350kg, depending on electromagnet size and application conditions.
Typical applications include access control and security systems, fire door holding systems, medical equipment, automated feeder systems, pick-and-place machinery, power generation and industrial automation.
