Eclipse Magnetics Energise-to-Hold Electromagnets provide dependable, switchable magnetic holding for lifting, clamping, fixturing and workholding applications. The magnet is activated when electrical power is applied and releases when the power is removed, providing controlled on/off magnetic holding for industrial machinery and automated systems.

Designed for repeated industrial use, each electromagnet combines a durable housing with a precision-wound coil to provide consistent magnetic performance. The range includes eight sizes from 20mm to 100mm diameter, with typical holding forces ranging from 5.2kg up to 360kg.

Models are available in 12 VDC and 24 VDC, while selected 50mm and 65mm versions are also available for 240 VAC operation. This provides flexibility for integration into machinery, automation cells, assembly equipment and material-handling systems with different electrical requirements.

These energise-to-hold electromagnets are suitable for applications including automated clamping, pick-and-place equipment, machining fixtures, assembly systems and temporary workholding. Matching armature plates can also be used to provide improved magnetic contact and maximise holding performance.
