Eclipse Magnetics Rectangular Universal Chucks provide fast, accurate magnetic clamping for a wide range of ferrous workpiece shapes, sizes and thicknesses.
Powered by high-strength Neodymium magnets, each chuck uses a universal pole pattern of 1mm brass and 3mm steel to provide effective holding across both thinner and thicker workpieces.
The robust all-metal top plate helps concentrate the magnetic field at the working face, while the manual ON/OFF handle allows quick loading, positioning and release of components.
Partial magnetisation of the top plate allows the workpiece to be adjusted before full magnetic clamping is applied, helping support accurate setup and repeatable positioning.
Five sizes are available from 180mm to 600mm in length, making the range suitable for grinding, EDM, milling, inspection and other machine-shop workholding applications.
