Eclipse Magnetics Universal Circular Permanent Magnetic Chucks provide secure and repeatable magnetic workholding for precision grinding, light milling and EDM applications.
Designed for holding ferrous workpieces without conventional clamps, these circular magnetic chucks use a fine-pole surface to provide consistent magnetic holding across small and thin components. This makes them well suited to toolroom, workshop and production environments where accurate and repeatable workholding is required.
Each permanent magnetic chuck is operated manually using a hex key, allowing the magnetic field to be switched ON or OFF quickly without the need for an electrical power supply. This provides a simple, reliable and low-maintenance workholding solution for machining and grinding operations.
The precision-ground steel top plate supports accurate component positioning and provides the rigidity required for surface grinding, light milling and EDM work. The sealed construction also helps protect the internal magnetic system from coolant and oil ingress during use.
Five diameters are available from Ø100mm to Ø250mm, allowing the chuck size to be matched to different machine tables and workpiece requirements.
