By extending the magnetic flux path from the top plate of the chuck through to the workpiece, these blocks enable improved gripping of cylindrical, irregular-shaped or thin workpieces. Ideal for grinding, turning and other machining operations, they also function as side supports for taller parts or provide finer pole contact surfaces for thin sections.
