Description
The Eclipse Magnetics Chuck Blocks provide a high-performance solution for enhancing the holding capacity of magnetic chucks. By extending the magnetic flux path from the top plate of the chuck through to the workpiece, these blocks enable improved gripping of cylindrical, irregular-shaped or thin workpieces. Ideal for grinding, turning and other machining operations, they also function as side supports for taller parts or provide finer pole contact surfaces for thin sections.
Key Features
- Extends magnetic flux path from the chuck to the workpiece for enhanced holding force
- Improves contact on cylindrical or irregular parts and supports taller workpieces
- Delivers finer pole contact for thin or small workpieces where standard chuck surfaces may under-perform
- Robust, precision-machined work holding accessory working seamlessly with magnetic chucks
Typical Applications
- Grinding or turning operations on cylindrical or irregular shaped parts using magnetic chucks
- Machining thin plates or discs requiring enhanced pole concentration and minimal stray field
- Supports for tall workpieces on magnetic chucks where side bracing improves stability
- General work holding setups where magnetic chuck performance needs strengthening or adapting
