Eclipse Magnetics Armature Plates are precision-engineered ferromagnetic plates designed to optimise the clamping performance of electromagnets and electro-permanent magnets. By providing a high magnetic permeability and low remanence surface, they ensure maximum holding strength and consistent magnetic performance in access control, automation, and general clamping applications.
Ideal for use where no suitable ferrous surface exists—or where an existing surface is inadequate due to being thin, rusty, or uneven—these plates create a smooth, effective magnetic contact area. Each armature plate includes fixing holes designed to fit both energise-to-hold and energise-to-release electromagnets, providing flexible compatibility across multiple systems.
Available in diameters from 25 mm to 100 mm and thicknesses from 3 mm to 12 mm, they feature counterbore holes for flush mounting using M3 to M10 screws (included). When paired with Eclipse electromagnets, they help minimise air gaps and enhance pull force by creating an optimised magnetic pathway.
