Ultralift Plus Magnetic Lifters – High-Performance Neodymium Lifters

Eclipse Magnetics Ultralift Plus Permanent Magnetic Lifters are high-performance manual lifting magnets designed for the safe handling of flat steel plate, steel sections and round bar in factories, fabrication workshops, warehouses and production environments.

Using high-energy Neodymium Iron Boron permanent magnets arranged within an efficient magnetic circuit, the Ultralift Plus range provides a strong holding force while maintaining an excellent performance-to-weight ratio. The lifters require no electricity, batteries or external power supply, making them a practical solution for repetitive steel lifting and material handling applications.

Four models are available with flat plate Working Load Limits (WLL) from 125kg to 1000kg and round bar WLL from 50kg to 400kg. This makes the range suitable for handling a wide variety of ferrous loads, from smaller steel components through to heavy plate and large round bar.

Operator safety is central to the Ultralift Plus design. Each lifter is supplied with a Safety Shim that allows the user to carry out a safety test before the full lift, helping confirm the required 3:1 lift factor. A mechanical safety interlock also prevents the operating handle from being moved to the OFF position while the lifter is under load.

The compact lifting magnet requires access to only one face of the load, providing a convenient alternative to chains, slings and mechanical grabs where access may be restricted. Simple one-person operation also helps reduce setup time during loading, unloading and general steel handling.

Typical applications include steel plate lifting, round bar handling, machine loading and unloading, fabrication, warehouse material handling and production-line lifting.

Technical Data

*Working Load Limit (WLL) figures include the 3:1 safety factor and are based on the stated thickness of high magnetic permeability steel with no air gap. Air gaps, thinner materials, lower magnetic permeability and other application conditions can reduce achievable lifting performance. Always check for any required downrating and complete a successful safety lift before the full lift.
